Warung Bale Bali has been around on Jalan Kunti since August 2000, when the area was not as popular and busy as now. The restaurant was designed and built by the owners when they moved to Bali from Solo, a cultural heritage city in Central Java. Bale Bali is an interpretation from the owners love to antiques and food. The design of the restaurant is warm, welcoming the customers with antiques furniture and Chinese-Javanese classic decoration.

The 2-storey, open-air building has its own little waterfall in the tiny tropical garden that gives diners a sense of peace. Sitting downstairs you will find a heart shaped red brick implanted in one of the pillars during lunch or dinner. The food selection itself contains more than 50 cooking styles of Chinese and Asian Fusion food. Most of the recipes taken from family recipe book handed down from generations. Specially tested and chosen by the owner herself, the food and the presentation will give you a glimpse of what day to day Indonesian family would have during dinner time.

Guest’s recommendations from Warung Bale Bali are the Sweet Sour Fried Gurami, Grilled Beef Ribs in Honey Sauce, and Angsio Seasoned Fried Duck, with the famous Iced Tea or simply healthy and fresh juices. Wide selection of wine by the bottle and house wine will be recommended while you dine. The other twist of this special place is smooth jazzy mood from the restaurants record collection and a regular bi-monthly life performance by Bale Bali’s very own jazz guitarist already gone international. With the latest facility free Wi-Fi internet connection, Warung Bale Bali is a perfect dining oasis in the middle of Seminyak and its busy life.

"hmmmm...Bale-Bali. Cozy and comforting spot where friends like to meet and chatter about everything and nothing. A very Welcoming staff and a surrounding which is easy on the eyes as well the soul. After living and working in Indonesia off and on for 15 years, I've tried a lot of Indonesian restaurants and this one truly captures the spirit and flavor that those islands have to offer. If you're planning a trip to Bali, make sure you eat there at least once....Gosh I miss it!!!"

The food is so good, the atmosphere is so warm and romantic and sometimes Bale Bali make a special even, like the last March 21, they had a romantic buffet dinner with performance from the famous Indonesian singer Glen Fredly.
