Blue Lagoon

A Balinese virgin

We are now going to tell you about a local virgin beauty that is so intoxicating. But first, a disclaimer: anyone expecting to read a dirty story should stop reading now. Anyway, the splendor we’re telling you is exactly the kind that makes Bali a blissful paradise, a quiet and peaceful escape away from disturbing buzzes. This beauty is named the Blue Lagoon.

If you cross the strait to Lombok from Padang Bai Ferry Port, you will see this small bay with its pristine white sand and clear blue water. Only looking at it from the deck of the ferry could simply send tingles down your spines, let alone really stepping foot there. The absence of hawkers and other distressing vendors will for sure make the solemn sun worshippers find this place as their holiest estuary.

While Blue Lagoon is easy diving, experienced divers in the know also thoroughly enjoy the site. There are only two warungs (eating stall) selling the catch of the day food and cold drinks. You have to bring your own sarong to lay on the beach because, unlike the popular beaches in Kuta and Seminyak, there’s no sunbed or umbrella to rent at Blue Lagoon.

Blue Lagoon is located near the Padang Bai Ferry Port. You can call us witty, but we’re not going to give you details on how to get there. If you are at the port you can ask the locals for directions. Oh, please don’t tell about this place to others.
