Baru di Bali

This morning we were cruising through Petitenget street and saw a flash of a big banner stating that 'The Circus is Coming to Town'. How exiting we thought,.. as we finished our brunch at Mano on Petitenget Beach we turned around our car and took a better look to the flashy 'Circus Banner'.

The outcome of further studying the big banner was both disappointing and exiting at the same time:

1) Unfortunately there is no Circus or Freak-Show opening up in Bali any time soon. Someone should, though!

2) The Circus is actually The Sea Circus Bali; currently a bunch of rubble but soon to be transformed into another very likely stunningly creative restaurant and bar right in Seminyak's new 'hot' area; Jalan Petitenget.

Sea Circus Bali will - as one could only guess - serve Bali's famous seafood with fabulous cocktails (as the banner indicated earlier).

My guess it will be a beauty of a place; Bali 'fusion' seafood served with Australian flair. I found out the owners are Australian because we did a little check on who owns their website http://www.seacircus-bali.com and found out they are from Australia.

Lately, Australians seem to do a great job in Seminyak with the popular Grocer and Grind bistro just around the corner, as well as the 'soon to open' Harry Juku restaurant which is owned by a few guys from Melbourne.

We will keep you posted on what's happening at Sea Circus Bali throughout the coming period.
