Kuta is the place that’s famous for its amazing sunsets daily where 100’s of people each day flock to the beach to enjoy it with Bali’s famous beer, Bintang. It is also the centre of night life and parties in Bali and well know for its shopping, ranging from the streets lined with market shops, to surf factory outlets, boutiques and galleries. Every second building is a restaurant serving mouth-watering food tasty cocktails. Kuta has a whole range of accommodations ranging from luxurious beach-front resorts to affordable family hotels, to small, low-cost home stays.
The beach of Kuta is one of the first most loved beaches uncovered by the tourist. To the south, the coastline is fenced by the airport’s runway, so when you land, you get spectacular views of the beach and some of the famous surf spots such as “air port lefts” and Kuta Reef and than an incredible landing experience looking as if the runway is right on the beach. To the north, the white sandy beach stretches as the eyes can see.
Kuta is only a 10minute drive away from the airport, and transportation is always available from Kuta to take you anywhere else in Bali, whether it’s a car, motorbike or horse and cart!
