Bali Bootcamp

growth through challenge

Hoorah! Hoorah!
Bootcamp has finally arrived in Bali...

Military-styled training methodologies in creating outstanding physical results are proven to have worked for centuries (i.e. Achilles, Johnny Rambo, Jason Bourne, Alexander the Great to name but a few). With the introduction of modern training methodologies, Bali Bootcamp aims in creating the right environment for individuals to achieve the health and fitness results they have always wanted through series of group activities, individual challenges, and a host of useful health & fitness (wellness) advice along the way - from which you will also learn new skills and a lot better results!

At Bali Bootcamp, expect to be gently encouraged (insert winking face) to achieve the highest result that you can and have no doubts; you will be amazed at just what you are actually capable of achieving. You may even decide to refine your capabilities in other parts of your life too. And finally, even though it is tough work, the shared experience and team activities will ensure that you have a lot of fun along the way.

Get fit on the amazing Bali beaches with Bali Bootcamp and expect to have:
- Fabulously toned body
- Improved sex
- Brilliant stress relief
- Weight loss
- Lots of fun and varieties

We promise not to send you off to any domestic or foreign military campaigns...

"If hammering your body into fitness in a safe and healthy environment – the beach – is your idea of a great way to get fit fast then perhaps Bali Boot Camp is for you!!! As I arrived beachside at Petitinget (next to La Lucciola restaurant) I was still a little grumpy and slightly miserable in the sense that I had dragged myself out of bed at around 6.30am to make the 7am start to punish myself. However, I was pleased to be greeted by about half a dozen grumpy yet friendly smiling faces and a round of equally friendly hand shakes before Major Massy (Carl Massy the trainer) walked us down to the waters edge to start with some mild stretches. Some neck rolls, shoulder rolls, arm rotations, pelvic rotations, squats, lunges, and a few others I don’t know the name of. Pretty nice and easy so far and no sign of polishing boots or handling weaponry! The first part of the fear leaving my body (the Bali Boot Camp team t-shirts all read “Pain is Fear leaving the Body!”) was in the push-up test. Each of us lay down in a row on the sand and at the mercy of Major Massy’s stopwatch we all strained and grunted for one minute to see how many pushups we could do. It wasn’t competitive with each other; it was a test to find your own limits. It also proved to be an Insight into the level of fitness of all present. Some did half pushups on their knees, while one very fit bugger pushed out about one every second! I think I fell in a heap after about 30! I was happy with the effort. Next was some soft sand beach jogging with a one metre length of bamboo filled with cement creating an illusionary 3kg alternative to carrying an AK-47 assault rifle. Holding it above the head to get the shoulders burning, then stop and down for 20 sit-ups, then back to the jogging. My heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. The next 20 minutes was followed by a combination of basic training and military inspired drills adapted to be fun and suitable for all participants. The last 15 minutes involved a stretch down and then some simple Yoga followed by a five minute basic meditation which just perfectly balanced the hour long session. To cut a long story short, Boot Camp is hard work and don’t let anyone tell you it isn’t! It’s perfect for anyone that wants to get fit and do it quickly whether young or old. But it is also loads of fun and with a great bunch of diverse people from all over the world. Since joining I have made some great new friends and while doing so, I reduced my waist by one belt notch in a month!!! "

"Hello All! Yes Bootcamp is definately a must do in Bali (whether you live here or visiting). After hearing and attending Bootcamp overseas i wasnt keen to do so again but iam now addicted to Carl's training classes and his way of motivating people. Furthermore training on the beach in Bali is something out of this world, far more motivating than in any gym around and the group of people is fun to be with! I am toning, breathing fresh air and having lots of great mornings, even under the rain! So i hope you will come experience it with us..Cheers"

"Guys, I have been with the boot camp since it opened on 1st may. i am 45, 20kg's overweight, not your usual fitness junky and definately have a problem with authority. Howevere i have found Carls boot camp addicitive. It is hard work but you can definately do it at your own pace and you are never felt left out no matter what your fitness level. I am going 3 times a week and all the things he skites about happening have happened including the sex life.haha. Also as an added bonus the group who are down there are a very socail and down to earth group of people. No posers in the mirror here"
