This profile is dedicated to Mr. Monte Monfore for his work as a marathon swimmer to help underprivileged children throughout Indonesia and the world.

Swimming for charity, fighting for the environment and humanitarian improvement, American born Monte Monfore can be held as an excellent example of how a single person can make a significant difference.

For his noble mission to help end hunger and support disadvantaged children Monte Monfore stopped his private English teaching practice in Tokyo and moved to Bali to purse ocean swimming full-time. Monte Monfore has gained international recognition swimming to raise awareness and support for tsunami and earthquake victims, hungry children, and the poor, as well as swimming for ocean conservation and to fight global warming.
